The following are areas of active research in our laboratory:

Develop and evaluate innovative NO-releasing therapies for the vasculature
Design and characterize novel NO-releasing films, gels, and prosthetic materials
Understand how NO regulates the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway
Examine how NO regulates cell death in the vasculature via reactive oxygen species
Create sustainable long-term release of NO for in vivo therapies
Evaluate NO-based therapies in diabetes and metabolic syndrome
Determine the role sex and hormones play on NO-mediated effects in the vasculature
Generate alternative therapies for vascular disease
